Carbohydrate antigen (CA) 19-9 is used to monitor treatment and reoccurrence of pancreatic, gastrointestinal, and gynecological cancers. It is also elevated in some non-cancerous conditions such as pancreatitis and cirrhosis of the liver.
Instructions
